FIGHTING JOE GOLF COURSE
FOR BIG HITTERS – FIGHTING JOE GOLF COURSE AT ALABAMA'S SHOALS PLAYS TO 8,000+ YARDS
By Ken Liebeskind
Long ball hitters have a spectacular course to play along the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in northwest Alabama. The Fighting Joe Golf Course at the Shoals is a par 72 course that plays to 8,092 yards at a 78.7 rating and a 139 slope.
The 12th hole at Fighting Joe Gold Course is a par 5 that plays 716 yards. The 1st and 7th holes are par 5s that play longer than 600 yards. There are plenty of long par 4s and all four par 3s play over 200 yards. Traps and water hazards make these long holes even more difficult.

The Fighting Joe Golf Course is in Muscle Shoals between the Wheeler and Wilson Dams on the Tennessee River and offers spectacular scenery, with the 18th green overlooking Wilson Lake.
Golf Digest ranks Fighting Joe Gold Course as the 27th most difficult course in the nation, so you'd best come prepared with a long distance driver that helps you set yourself up on the long holes. I strongly suggest the Condor 460cc driver from www.scientificgolfclubs.com. This is the driver with the max size club head that's coated with an armor-piercing metal once used on military missiles that is twice as hard as steel and 70 percent harder than titanium. It will outhit virtually any other driver, with average golfers getting 20 to 40 extra yards on every drive and a long distance champ claiming it's the best driver he's used in over 20 years of pounding monster drives.
NGC Golf could charge hundreds for this specially attuned long distance driver but like all the scientifically designed clubs in its arsenal it's available at a low online price that's a true bargain.
