By Ken Liebeskind
The Bulle Rock Golf Club in Havre de Grace, MD has been proclaimed as one of the best public links on the East Coast and certainly the best in Maryland. The Pete Dye design, which hosted the McDonald's LPGA Championship, features lush fairways lined with bluegrass and fescues, tall hardwood trees and natural rock formations. There are water hazards on seven holes and more than 100 sand bunkers that make precise shot making mandatory.
Bulle Rock Golf Club plays 7,375 yards from the tips, with a 76.4 ratin g and 147 slope. There are four tee boxes, which make the course accessible to all levels of play. The water hazards include three lakes, one of which is in the middle of the 9th hole and two others running the length of the 12th and 18th holes. Bulle Rock Golf Club also features ample fairways that reward long hitters.

Among the signature holes are number 2, a 572 yard par 5 that plays from an elevated tee, descending 400 yards before ascending 150 yards to an elevated green. Look out for the huge fairway bunker on the left and the creek that runs across the fairway at the distance of a long drive. The 13th is a 476 yard par 4 with a long carry to the fairway. Beware the ravine on the right that leads to the woods and the second shot, a long carry downhill to a green riddled with bunkers. The 18th is a 484 yard par 4 from an elevated tee to a skinny fairway with water along the left cutting in around the sloping green.
A great driver to use at Bulle Rock Golf Club is the Condor 460cc driver from www.scientificgolfclubs.com. It's the premiere long distance driver with a max size club head coated with a metal once used on military missiles that's twice as hard as steel and 70 percent harder than titanium. A long distance champ says the Condor 460cc driver is the best he's used in more than 20 years of hitting monster drives. Average golfers report 20 to 40 yard increases over their current drivers.
This is the driver that can turn short par 4s into 3s and provide you with the opportunity to reach 5s in two, making eagle putts possible. The driver comes with a shaft so it's easy to swing.
